ULCCI

United Liberal Catholic Churches International

Today, the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity, marks the 3 anniversary of the founding of the United Liberal Catholic Church International (ULCCI).

ULCCI was founded after the closure of the Old Catholic Fellowship Church International (OCFCI).

It has been an interesting 3 years. Many applications for ordination have been received. There has been 2 Consecrations to the office of Bishops. The first was the now Shane Hughes who has moved on to become the Archbishop at The Metropolitan Liberal Catholic Church and we are in contact still with him and the TMLCC and then most recently the consecration of the Rt. Rev’d William E Riley, the Diocesan Bishop of Mississippi, USA and of course we are already planning the consecration of Rev’d Fr. Paul Newbery (North West England) in May 2022.

I have been asked to be a part of a couple of Consecrations by other jurisdictions, two of which as pencilled into my calendar for 2022.

The last 18 months have been a struggle for ULCCI, living through the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have lost 2 of your clergy this year, they have been taken home to our Lord in heaven. We ask that you remember Rev’d Fr. William Wallen (USA) and more recently Rev’d Fr. Thomas Jesse Laigaie Jr.

As the Presiding Bishop of ULCCI, I ask that we all pray that the past three years will inspire us to move forward in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and that ULCCI will continue to flourish with the help and support of God and the members and followers that are loyal and faithful.

Amen and bless you all, PAX!!
